A Household Budget Too? |
Weekly or Monthly Figures? |
This section will help you to collect the facts you need to create a complete
and accurate business budget and record it in the budget
sheet. You can then send this to your creditors.
It will help you to work out what is coming in and going out of
your business, and to see what income you are bringing in to your household. Once you know this, you
will be able to work out what you have left to pay off your debts.
There are three stages to working out your business budget.
Stage 1: Income
Calculating your income is
important if you are to have accurate figures for how much of your debt you can afford to pay off.
Stage 2: Costs
You will have many different costs
to running your business. Some of them will be fixed such as
business rent, and some will be variable such as wages or
telephone bills.
Stage 3: Drawings
Working out how much you can
afford to draw from the business each month.
