Many local authorities have decriminalised parking offences and enforce parking penalty charges through the Traffic Enforcement Centre in Northampton County Court.

There are special rules that apply if you have this type of parking penalty. You cannot be sent to prison but the local authority can ask the county court to use private bailiffs to try to recover the money.

If you have a parking penalty charge, phone us for advice.
